Ondo State Agricultural Commodities Association(OSACA)

The Ondo State Agricultural Commodities' Association was founded on 30th April, 2015. OSACA was a creation of combined Agro commodity groups ,which is the non-governmental arm of the agric , sub-sector in Ondo State in the years back..

In recent decade globally clustering of Agric and value-chain actors clustering for effective collaboration and aggregation has been a gainful approach towards sustainable food system, in which Nigeria ,and Ondo state is no exception.

Focus of the federal government was that the organization and interaction with agricbusinesses be done on agro commodity and its value-chain basis. Thus, after extensive consultation set up by the Ondo State Government both within the state and at the Federal Ministry level, a new umbrella body came to be as the Ondo state Commodity Associations (OSACA). It opened doors to a level-playing ground for all and actors as rallying point properly structured. .OSACA collaborate with other existing bodies of farmers / agric commodities groups at the state and national levels.
